Post Offer Employment Test (POETs)

Utilizing Post Offer Employment Tests (POETs) during the employment application process can be the first opportunity to affect future claim costs. This type of testing also is known as Physical Abilities Testing, Pre-placement testing, Physical demands testing and Worker Selection testing.
Only 40% of all back injury costs to businesses are related to medical expenses. The other 60% go to disability settlements, legal payments, and administrative costs.
